Sean Ryan is a graduate student at Montana Tech working towards his Master’s of Science in Technical Communication. Ryan played collegiate golf for the Orediggers as an undergraduate and was a four-time All-State selection in high school. Ryan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Professional and Technical Communication from Montana Tech as well with a concentration in Public Relations.
During this time Ryan has worked in the Montana Tech Athletic Department in the Sports Information Department preparing pre-game media notes, writing press releases, and writing post-game recaps for Football, Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Golf. Ryan has also worked for Montana Tech as their play-by-play broadcaster of Montana Tech basketball games. In addition to broadcasting for Montana Tech, Ryan has worked for numerous stations around the state broadcasting postseason basketball contests.
As for written work, Ryan started a Blog in 2014 on basketball in Montana that has over 36,000 reads and has been read in over all over the globe. Ryan’s articles have been published in newspapers around the state of Montana.
In his free time Ryan enjoys golfing, refereeing high school basketball, spending time with his family, and traveling around the Treasure State.
